The last COSYTEC Users' Club has taken place at the Hôtel
Concorde La Fayette (Paris Porte Maillot) from the 14th to 15th of
October 2010.
As usually, this traditional event has given to the participants the opportunity to discover the latest developments and implementations done with
CHIP and OPTI-CHANNEL.
This year, the seminar included fourteen presentations given by users, partners and technology developers in a very comfortable and nice environment in the heart of Paris.
Two application domains were highlighted during the presentations of this year: Transport and Broadcasting, besides the traditional presentations of the new features for
CHIP and OPTI-CHANNEL.
In the area of Transport, the applications of CHIP have been illustrated by
SNCM (National Corsica Mediterranean Company) for maritime transport,
Cremonini for TGV trains, SIR Plan (Germany) and University of Montpellier for road transport.
The implementations of OPTI-CHANNEL for workforce planning & scheduling in the Audiovisual area have been illustrated through presentations and testimonies given by the well-known broadcasting companies :
ARTE, CANAL+, FRANCE24 and TECHNICOLOR.
An overview of new ideas and current R&D around the constraint technology has been illustrated by the presentations of our partners
Fraunhofer (Germany), INRIA, Implexe and Thales.
The great success of this event was an illustration of world-wide
synergy around CHIP technology and OPTI-CHANNEL software
package.
